AIRPORT TRANSIT SYSTEM SENSOR TECHNOLOGIES​

The Product: A North American airport was seeking various supporting technologies to compliment a new airport transit system.

​

My Role: Project Manager for all initiative phases including project definition, customer needs analysis, and solution deployment.

 

Key Activities:

• Customer journey mapping and needs gathering

• Product fit analysis to address user pains and passenger needs

• Project management and implementation of sensor-based technologies

• Led product testing and QA in coordination with suppliers

• Manage and deliver on stakeholder expectations

Impact:

• 65% Reduction in Technology Spend realized by analyzing, then reducing non-critical scope

• Reduced client risk exposure by $400K by leading discussions between the client and vendors. A technology deployment risk was transferred from the client to the vendor.

• Aligned technology to needs of airport services staff, transit system operators, airlines and passengers.
