The Product: A major North American airport undergoing a $2B facilities expansion was upgrading its Airport Terminal Information Messaging System (ATIMS). The upgrade consisted of custom application development, helping to transform the entire customer journey.

My Role: Project Manager for all development, customization, QA and implementation of the ATIMS application.

Product Management Activities:

  • Developed project plan to meet opening day requirements for 500+ flight displays utilized by major carriers including United Airlines, American Airlines, British Airways, and Air Canada.

  • Led daily scrums with development team. Provided leadership to project team consisting of engineers, business analysts and construction contractors.

  • Managed project expectations with C-suite executives, airport management team and business users.

  • Oversaw scope changes, SOW development, budget, schedule, risks and issues.



  • Launched a first of its kind digital way finding and passenger messaging experience at a major North American airport serving 16 million annual passengers.

  • Improved project transparency, team morale, and activity prioritization, averting lost revenues by ensuring on-time application rollout.
